The plain white metal container, wrapped in a white satin ribbon, imprinted with the cake studio New York, the tissue paper imprinted with thank you and the insert with cake storage and serving suggestions it was wow! The cake I ordered was sent to New Mexico as a special treat for my son who loves Dominican Cake with guava. It arrived as promised in great condition. The cake has that distinct Dominican cake flavor and smell. It was dense and moist with a healthy layer of guava filling. The frosting was light, soft and sticky not crusty like some cakes we’ve had in the past. Overall a bit too sweet perhaps because of generous amount of filling. Definitely would buy again.
This is my second purchase and you have not failed me. Thank you so much for the delicious cake. It tastes fresh and amazing.
