Allergy Notice

The Cake Studio NY is not a nut-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, or soy-free facility. Our cakes CONTAIN: WHEAT, EGGS, MILK, SOY. Some products also contain tree nuts (such as Nutella). All items are prepared in a kitchen where common allergens are present, and cross-contact may occur.


Our Shipping Schedule

·         We ship every Tuesday and Wednesday.

·         The weekly order cutoff time is Sunday at 12:00 PM (noon) Eastern Time, unless we have already reached our maximum weekly capacity.

·         Orders placed before Sunday noon will ship the upcoming Tuesday or Wednesday.

·         Orders placed after Sunday noon, will automatically ship the following week.

·         If space allows in our production schedule, we may include a last-minute order in that week’s shipment, but this is not always possible.

·         If capacity is reached before Sunday, your order will also ship the following week.

To ensure the freshness and integrity of our cakes, shipping schedules may vary based on weather conditions, holidays, and destination.


Free Shipping (UPS & USPS Priority Mail)

At The Cake Studio NY, we offer FREE shipping through UPS and USPS Priority Mail.

  • Orders typically arrive within 2-3 business days after shipment.
  • Orders to the tri-state area and neighboring states often arrive within 1–2 business days.
  • Delivery dates are estimates; they vary by destination and are subject to weather or carrier delays beyond our control.
  • Free shipping is not available for orders to Alaska or Hawaii.

Expedited Shipping Options (Next-Day & Two-Day)

Expedited options may be available at checkout for an additional cost. These options are location-dependent and will only appear if available for your specific address.

Important Note: Selecting expedited shipping does not change our processing time, order cutoff, or our shipping schedule; this speeds up only the delivery transit time. All orders still ship on our standard Tuesday and Wednesday schedule.

  • Next-Day Delivery: If your order ships on Tuesday, it should arrive Wednesday. If it ships on Wednesday, it should arrive Thursday.
  • Two-Day Delivery: A budget-friendly expedited option. If your order ships on Tuesday, it should arrive Thursday. If it ships on Wednesday, it should arrive Friday.

Delivery dates are estimates; they vary by destination and are subject to weather or carrier delays beyond our control.

Eligibility: Shipping availability and costs are confirmed at checkout after entering your address. If these options do not appear, they are not available for your destination.


Holiday Shipping Policy

·       Shipping Recommendations: To provide the best window for your order to arrive 1–2 days before a major holiday, UPS Next Day Air is highly recommended at checkout. Please note that UPS does not deliver on the holiday itself.

·       Shipping Estimates: While Next Day Air is the fastest service available, arrival dates are estimates and not a guaranteed delivery time. We are committed to processing and shipping your order on schedule; however, once in the hands of the carrier, external factors (such as weather, high delivery volume, or transit delays) may affect the final delivery date.

·       Service Availability: If UPS Next Day Air is not an available option for your location, we strongly advise against placing an order for a time-sensitive holiday to avoid any potential delays.


Order Processing Timeframe

  • Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A limited number of cakes are shipped weekly to ensure the highest quality.
  • If your order exceeds our weekly shipping capacity or is placed after the Sunday noon cut-off, it will be scheduled for shipment the following week.
  • Once shipped, you will receive tracking information to monitor progress.
  • Delivery times may be affected by weather or carrier delays.

 Order Cancellation Policy

  • If you need to cancel an order, please email info@thecakestudiony.com with your billing name and order number as soon as possible.
  • Cancellations should be requested within 24 hours of placing the order.
  • Please note that cancellations are not always guaranteed. Once an order has entered our processing stage, when ingredients are purchased, and production is scheduled, we may not be able to cancel.
  • For this reason, cancellations made closer to the shipping date (e.g., several days after placing the order) are unlikely to be approved.
  • Once an order has been shipped and fulfilled, we are unable to stop, reroute, or cancel the shipment.

Summer Shipping Notice

To ship during summer, we would need next-day air and special packaging, which would significantly increase costs. To avoid raising our prices during the summer months, we pause shipments from June through August.

  • High temperatures can affect cakes during transit, and we want them to arrive in the best possible condition.
  • Our last shipment before the break goes out at the end of May.
  • We resume shipping in September when the weather cools.

What Are Pre-Orders?

During busy times such as the holiday season, we may offer pre-orders so customers can reserve a spot in our production schedule when we are fully booked.

  • This information will be clearly noted on our website at the time of ordering.
  • Once we resume or reopen shipping, pre-orders will be sent out on the next available Tuesday.

  • This ensures we can reach you to discuss your order, notify you of any delays, or communicate cancellations due to weather or other unforeseen events.
  • Avoid using outdated contact information to ensure smooth communication.

 Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Accurate shipping information is critical to ensure smooth, timely delivery. Please review your address carefully, including apartment or suite numbers, before placing an order.

Policy for Undeliverable Packages

  • No refunds or replacements will be issued for orders that are undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
  • Because cakes are perishable, returned undeliverable packages must be discarded for safety and quality reasons.
  • Having incurred the costs of shipping, packaging, ingredients, and labor, we cannot issue refunds or replacements once the order has been fulfilled and shipped if it is undeliverable due to an address issue provided by the customer.
  • We strongly encourage all customers to double-check their shipping details to avoid these issues.

Lost Shipments

If your order is lost in transit, as confirmed by the carrier, we will provide a full refund or replacement.


Cake Storage & Serving Suggestions

  • To maintain freshness, refrigerate your cake upon delivery if not consuming it right away.
  • Cakes may be refrigerated for up to 2–3 days. Some customers have reported keeping them longer, but for optimal taste and freshness, we recommend 2–3 days.
  • Freezing: We do not recommend freezing cakes in the tin. If you wish to freeze, remove the cake from the tin, place it in an airtight, freezer-safe container, and it may keep for 2–3 months.
  • Do not serve cold. For the best flavor and texture, allow the cake to reach room temperature before serving.
  • If serving after refrigeration, microwave a slice for a few seconds to warm it slightly.

Carefully Packaged for Freshness & Quality

We take great care in packaging each cake to help it arrive in excellent condition.

  • Due to transit handling, some meringue (suspiro) may adhere to the parchment paper.
  • This does not affect the quality or flavor. Any meringue that adheres can be gently scraped off with a butter knife if desired.

Refunds, Replacements & Return Policy

All Sales Are Final
Because this is an edible and perishable product, returns are not accepted.
